## The Sources of Sudocode The 0 & 1 strata of Sudocode is known for its irony and playful use of omission, but it is not known for the doctoring of sources. Though they are creative (one might even say cavalier) as regards the issue of whether, when, and how citations are provided for included sources, they never attribute those sources to themselves. This bears repeating. _In no case is there evidence of the Authors of these strata explicitly passing off the work of others as their own._ The exception that proves the rule 一 the addition of footnotes to an image of an older text by A. Church that resolve only in the text outside the image 一 is such a clear instance of playful doctoring of sources that it can hardly be argued to be a form of dishonesty or Authorial impropriety. This contrasts starkly with other sections of the corpus of Sudocode. There has recently been a surge of interest in cases of false attribution in what is now being called the T source.
